Want to know the Still Star-Crossed episode 3 return date? Following tonight’s episode, there is certainly something strange happening. Rather than give you another new episode next week and continue the forward trajectory, there is no installment coming. Thank the NBA Finals for that. There’s a scheduled game next week, and that is not something that is going to change. Even if the NBA Finals are over by the time next week rolls around, we don’t get the sense that ABC is going to change around their schedule at the last minute.

Still Star-Crossed episode 3 synopsis – “In an attempt to convince the citizens of Verona that Benvolio and Rosaline are madly in love, Prince Escalus suggests a public betrothal ceremony. Meanwhile, Livia bonds with Count Paris, and a larger conspiracy to keep the Montagues and Capulets feuding threatens Escalus’ plans for peace.”

The words “public betrothal ceremony” is probably enough for many people out there to have some sort of EPIC cringe go down, and for pretty good reason given that this idea is one of the most cringe-worthy ones possible. Does anyone really want to see something like that go down?

Also, the idea of someone plotting to keep the Montague and Capulet family fighting with each other is fairly smart, and something that felt primed by the Romeo & Juliet story. While both of these families may suffer when they are fighting with each other, there are plenty of people out there who will benefit.

Promo – Much of this is about the ceremony that is coming, but what’s interesting about this is what happens almost the moment that the ceremony begins: Chaos erupts, which should be further evidence that somehow within this world, things always end up leading to chaos regardless of how you may not want that to be so. There’s really no avoiding it!
