Preacher season 2 trailer is a rollicking good time

Preacher season 2 trailer

AMC has just unveiled the latest Preacher season 2 trailer, and if the video below is any indication, this one looks as though it’ll be great fun.

If you look below, you can see the table set for the new spiritual journey for the title character Jesse Custer and his “associates” Tulip and Cassidy as they find themselves on new missions now that they are out on the road — and take on some new demonic threats in the process. This preview contains a whole lot of what you would expect from the show, whether it be crazy characters, high-octane action, and some great humor sprinkled in along the way. This should prove to be a pretty fast-paced, crazy run, and hopefully one that you enjoy if you did love the first season of the show. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are going to be back to direct in the early going this season.

Will Preacher actually find God? Well, that seems far easier said than done when you consider all of the different threats that are floating around out there that the whole crew is going to have to deal with.

One other good thing to note is that season 2 will contain 13 episodes, an increase from the ten that you got during season 1. This means effectively more content, and there’s absolutely nothing to be upset about in that department.

Beyond the story (which of course based on the comics), another thing worth noting for season is the change in scenery. Jesse and company aren’t just in West Texas anymore; they’ll be venturing over to some other new locales, and one of them includes New Orleans. It’s pretty darn hard to be upset about the idea of getting to see many of these characters in this setting. It’s loud, it’s chaotic, and it feels pretty easy for some demonic stuff to be hiding within plain sight. It’s exactly what you want to see from the world of Preacher now that the stage is set.

New episodes for Preacher will begin airing on AMC June 25.
