Is NCIS new tonight? Given that there is a new episode of Bull coming on the air, it makes perfect sense to think it would be. Alas, that is not the case, and to make matters worse, there is not going to be more episodes on until the fall.

That’s right — the folks over at CBS are going to make you sit around now until the fall to see what happens in the aftermath of Gibbs and McGee being trapped in a pretty terrible position! It’s a heck of a cliffhanger, and one that will take a little bit of time to get any resolution on. (With that said, isn’t it obvious that the two will be okay in the end? It’s hard to see the show without them.)

Anyhow, tonight there is a repeat airing of the episode “Off the Grid” from earlier this year — if you do watch the show for Mark Harmon and his performance, then odds are that this will be an episode that you enjoy! He does get to do some fun stuff in here playing a slightly different version of Agent Gibbs, and it shows a different part of his skill set.

Beyond that, tonight at 11:00 p.m. Eastern, there is a new episode of 48 Hours: NCIS, the new series hosted by Rocky Carroll that takes a look at real-life cases and what some of the agents have to do in order to ensure that justice is brought to the victims and their families. It’s a cool little bit of insight in the event that the original show has you curious in getting a little more insight into what happens with some of these agents and the sort of material that the shows tend to take for their cases.

As for when some more major news is going to be coming out about NCIS, the safe guess for the time being is July. After all, this is when the show will kick off filming season 15, so further news will probably start to trickle in around then.
