Is Scorpion new tonight on CBS? New Katharine McPhee casting?

Scorpion new

Is Scorpion new tonight on CBS? Following the events of last week’s episode, there’s a lot for the show to get into.

Unfortunately, you’re going to be waiting for a while in order to check out some more new episodes of the CBS series. Season 4 of the show will not premiere until fall. There is no official premiere date just yet, but think in terms of either late September or early October. This is a subject that is discussed further over at the link here, so be sure to go over and check that out in the event you do want a little more context and discussion on the subject. (The only thing that’s been updated since the time of that article being written is that the show is officially retaining its timeslot Monday night at 10:00 p.m. Eastern, with is something that many people expected going into the show airing.)

Now, let’s share a little bit of other news if you’re interested in seeing series star Katharine McPhee in something else over the course of the coming months. According to a new report from Deadline, the actress / singer is set to appear in the upcoming Lifetime original movie The Lost Wife of Robert Durst, effectively playing the main character of Kathie, a spouse of Robert Durst’s who vanished back in 1982. The movie is set to explore what could have happened to her, and also the frustration from her friends and family over what they felt was a lack of a proper investigation into what happened at the time.

As if this news wasn’t enough to pique your interest in watching, there is also the following to consider: Durst will be played by none other than Daniel Gillies of The Originals fame. Basically, this movie is giving you a lot in terms of TV star power — in the end, it will just remain to be seen what it ends up looking like when it airs. It’s certainly going to be a good bit better than the Britney Spears biopic trainwreck that the network aired recently.

What do you want to see when Scorpion season 4 does come back on the air, especially for the characters of Walter and Paige? Share some of your thoughts on that subject now below!
