Teen Wolf season 6 episode 11: See new Tyler Posey – Holland Roden clip
If you were looking forward to this preview for some sort of full trailer or significant answers as to what the final story for the show may be, there’s a good chance that you’re disappointed right now given that this doesn’t give away much of anything. Instead, it’s more atmospheric than anything, and one of the real standouts is the dark, moody lighting. Also, the presence of some mysterious threats that superficially feel a little more human than anything else.
If the show was to make the Big Bads for the remainder of the series mere humans and not something crazy, supernatural, or immortal, there would be something really interesting and appropriate about that. In some ways, it’s a perfect analogy for almost all of humanity that we are our own worst enemy, and we do have a tendency to mostly get in our own way. We would argue that this isn’t a show that has focused on being political and delivering that sort of message, but better late than never, right? We could certainly see it happening and it would make a lot of sense.
As for the absence of Dylan O’Brien in the clip, don’t take that as any sort of sure-fire sign that we are not seeing Stiles over the course of the final episodes of the series. We certainly do imagine that he will turn up at some point, but our expectation is more that his appearances will be scattered similar to what they were in the first half of the season. For a variety of different reasons Dylan wasn’t as available as everyone would have hoped, so the show ultimately had to just take advantage of however much time that they had with him. Given that Roden’s Lydia is a big part of this preview, you have to assume that he will turn up in due time.
