The Arrangement season 2 premiere date: When should it be?

Following tonight’s finale, where will the story go next for The Arrangement over on E!? The first thing we should focus on is that it’s returning. for another season so there’s more to come.

Earlier this spring, the network confirmed that the scripted drama, one focusing on a surprising side of Hollywood relationships (and that is putting it mildly), would be coming back for another season. To go along with that, the network’s president (Adam Stotsky) had the following to say in a statement:

“As E!’s second successful foray into scripted, we are thrilled to see the show resonate with viewers and gain momentum throughout the season. Continuing to fuel our audience’s passion for pop culture and celebrity, ‘The Arrangement’ allows us to reveal a darker side of Hollywood that has never been seen before … Alongside our partners at Universal Cable Productions, we’re excited to watch this intriguingly unpredictable story continue to unfold in a second season.”

Now that this question is out of the way and viewers can have confidence in the show’s return, this brings us to another important question: When is the show going to premiere? Season 1 of The Arrangement premiered back in March, so it does make sense that this is when the show could start up again. It’s a time when some shows are on a short hiatus and could pick up some viewers that don’t want to watch reruns. While the finale for the season may be up against heavy competition tonight, the hope is that people are invested to such an extent that they aren’t going to want to miss out on the biggest episode of the entire season.

For E!, this premiere date also makes a lot of sense when you start to look at the network’s own schedule. Their Sundays for the first couple months of the season are fairly monopolized thanks to awards shows, and in putting the show on at this point it can run for the most part without colliding with a lot of heavy hitters.

Now, we’ll just have to see what the ratings are for season 2. While solid enough for season 1, we certainly think that the network wants to recruit some more viewers along the way.
