Jane the Virgin season 3 finale spoilers: How Michael plays a part

While we unfortunately cannot sit here and say that Michael is coming back to life on the Jane the Virgin season 3 finale, he will play a part. The May 22 episode is going to be the culmination of Jane’s entire journey to date, and sometimes in order to move forward, you do have to look back and ponder over your past. This is going to happen for Jane, but in an unexpected way after she finds something that he did while he was still alive.

We don’t what to lead you on further when it comes to what we are talking about here. Specifically, we’ve got the synopsis below, which gives you a little bit more news in terms of what is coming up:

“Jane (Gina Rodriguez) struggles to find the right words for Rogelio (Jaime Camil) and Xo’s (Andrea Navedo) ceremony, when she learns about a mysterious letter that Michael wrote before their wedding. Rogelio and Xo are excited for their big day, but Rogelio gets some shocking news that could put things on hold. Once again Rafael (Justin Baldoni) is upset with Luisa (guest star Yara Martinez) and asks her to leave, but Luisa has a plan of her own. Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) is skeptical about Jane’s feelings for Rafael which leads her to make a rash decision.”

Will everything this season end in a cliffhanger? We do wonder that just because the show ended last season on one of the biggest cliffhangers ever. We figure that the ending this season will and should be very different than any other that we’ve seen over the years, but that’s okay. You want the show to continue to find some different ways to both surprise and delight.

Also, we wouldn’t mind having a big ending for this season when it comes to Rogelio and Xo, and setting up more of what their endgame could be. The show’s been renewed for a fourth season, but beyond that? The jury is still out.
