Better Call Saul season 3 episode 5 promo: Jimmy versus Chuck

Better Call Saul season 3

Moving into Better Call Saul season 3 episode 5, it’s looking more like there are some significantly courtroom clashes coming! Jimmy McGill is still in the process of trying to fight for his freedom and against his brother, and we will see some of this continue to be a key cog in the story coming up.

Based on what little information AMC has released in advance for this installment, it does look as though one of the primary orders of business here is going to be seeing these characters try to navigate some of the problems that are coming their way — both in the courtroom and beyond.

Better Call Saul season 3 episode 5 synopsis – “Kim and Jimmy face off with an unforgiving adversary; Jimmy looks to Chuck’s past to secure his own future; and Jimmy loses one ally but gains another.”

The notion of Jimmy losing an ally is certain something that makes us a little bit concerned, largely because of the fact that he doesn’t exactly have a whole lot of allies in the first place. The more that he loses, the more that he could be on the fast track to becoming Saul. The fact that he is looking more into Chuck’s past certainly makes us think that he is up to no good, and that should make you worry if you are one of those people who want to see Chuck and Jimmy’s relationship end on some sort of amicable note. (At this point, we just think that Chuck is the worst — we don’t wish death on even a fictional character, but he’s still not someone who deserves a lot of great things coming his way.)

Promo – This is Jimmy versus Chuck in the courtroom, where the two of them are going to try to battle things out for what we assume at this point is pride as much as anything. Chuck may claim that this is about “the law,” but really this is more about him wanting to embarrass his brother using whatever means he possibly can. We’ll see how successful he is in that.
