The Catch season 2 episode 9 promo: A key confession coming

If you do find yourself prepared for some startling moments, rest assured that The Catch season 2 episode 9 is going to provide those. This is an episode that is building towards a big finale, and given that this is a show within the Shondaland family, you have to be prepared for some jaw-droppers.

While it doesn’t give away too much, the attached synopsis makes it clear that Alice could be at the middle of one of them.

The Catch season 2 episode 9 synopsis – “The AVI team discover their working relationship with Margot isn’t as clean as they’d like, while Alice finds herself on the receiving end of a life-altering confession.”

One of the big questions that this synopsis does leave open to the imagination is rather simple — who is firing off said jaw-dropper, and what will it mean for Alice and the rest of the show? We’re all for game-changers, provided that they do make sense for the show.

Ratings Outlook – We do want to say that we’re hopeful for the series’ future, but we are very much concerned coming off of this past episode and the series-low 0.6 rating it received in the 18-49 demographic. The one caveat with that rating is that this episode aired on a night that didn’t include new episodes of any other Shonda Rhimes programming, so you could claim theoretically that this was a direct response to all of that. Even if this may be the case, though, the show to date is not necessarily averaging numbers that are all that much better than this.

Promo – This one identifies the target, makes it clear that there are serious stakes at hand … and then hypes up the final two minutes like nobody’s business, making it clear that we know that there are some jaw-dropping moments that are coming by the time the closing credits roll.
