The X Factor UK: Honey G dropped by Syco
Still, it doesn’t seem like she is giving up! Speaking to The Sun, she made it clear that she is planning to start her own record label and try to release further music that way:
“My own record label will be representing real rap and hip-hop music. Obviously making it as a global rap star is still my dream.
“I have a 2:1 BA in popular music and recording, specializing in music technology and studio production.”
We do think that Honey G is fairly proficient when it comes to branding and some other parts of the music industry; she’s just not much of a writer and her music didn’t bring anything new to the table. Maybe she could help someone else in a behind-the-scenes role. In the end, though, we do think that her future is probably going to be dotted with other reality shows. While may not have been interested in Celebrity Big Brother this time around, is she really going to say no to getting hundreds of thousands of pounds to do so down the road? Hard to imagine so, and she’s still noteworthy enough to be on any of these different celebrity-themed shows.
Do we think that Honey G will ever have a hit album? Not so much, but we’d be shocked if she was to disappear and we were to never hear of her again. We still have a feeling that the show will go on in one way or another.
Are you surprised that Honey G and Syco are no longer together? What do you think that the future could hold in theory? Share in the comments! (Photo: ITV.)

I think that making as much money as she can on the celebrity beat is the right way for her to go and then invest that in her own studio and have a business behind the scenes in production and publishing. That is the smart thing for Honey G to do. XFactor is always a bubble. The reality beyond the show is very different, as most of the winners over the years, know.
