MacGyver episode 20 spoilers: Murdoc returns … but how?
Next week’s new episode is entitled “Hole Puncher,” and what may surprise you is that Murdoc’s return isn’t coming about in the way you’d expect. For one, you’re actually going to see MacGyver himself actually pretend to be Murdoc for a little while. The synopsis below offers up a little bit of insight as to why you’d want to do that.
MacGyver episode 20 synopsis – “When the team intercepts a terror group’s message meant for Murdoc, Mac poses as the psychopath to save the intended target and find out why they want Murdoc to assassinate him.”
Given that Dastmalchian is appearing within this episode, it is fair to say that you’re going to see Murdoc appearing in the flesh by the end of the episode. The biggest question that you should really be asking is how that is going to come about, and specifically what he could have in store for Mac. We can’t imagine that he’d be all that happy with his nemesis being out there pretending to be him, and all of that time in a prison cell is probably going to allow him to have some new plans up his sleeve.
While there were several different directions that the series could’ve gone in moving into the finale, we’re rather pleased that this is the one they’ve decided to go into. Murdoc was one of the more challenging villains when he first turned up, and he has has the smarts to be a threat to MacGyver on several different levels.
