Hap and Leonard season 2 episode 2 spoilers: Free Leonard

Following tonight’s new episode, Hap and Leonard season 2 episode 2 is going to be coming up in just seven days. What are we going to see in there? This is a show with only six episodes, so with that in mind, there’s not going to be a whole lot of stalling before getting into the meat of the case.

Here’s where we are leading off following tonight’s episode: Leonard was arrested, and not that he’s free of Trudy, we may start to see Hap become more focused on the task at hand. That’s a good thing, since Leonard is in a pretty terrible position and could need both his best friend and his new attorney Florida in order to get him out of the bind that he’s in.

Hap and Leonard season 2 episode 2 synopsis – “Hap and Florida scheme to free Leonard from a dire situation. Odd clues bring the guys to a cryptic person of interest in the case.”

Is this “cryptic person” the same one we saw in the car at the end of tonight’s episode? There’s no guarantee of that unless you’re a book reader, but even still there are also some chances that the show is going to be shaking things up and doing their own thing. The biggest thing to us is more seeing how Hap is going to react to seeing his best friend locked up, and how this could bring out of him a part of him that he didn’t know was there previously.

Remember, earlier this week we spoke with James Purefoy, and one of the things that he said was that we’d get a chance to see Hap this season find more of a calling as an investigator. He realizes that this is something he’s really good at and enjoys, and it’s something that as a result of that, could bleed over into some other seasons.
