‘The Blacklist: Redemption’ episode 2 trailer: Will Scottie Hargrave learn the truth?
‘The Blacklist: Redemption‘ episode 2 will be airing on NBC in one week’s time, and odds are, this will be the true make-it-or-break-it episode at the heart of the whole series. At some point over the course of the hour, we hope that there will be a chance to get a little more information about one Scottie Hargrave’s secretive dealings. Not only that, but fingers crossed that she inches closer to realizing that her son Christopher a.k.a. Tom Keen is still out there.
After all, let’s face it: The show is far more excited when all of the cards are placed on the table.
The trailer below is a longer look at the season more so than an individual episode preview, and it gives you a sense of EVERYTHING that will be coming … and there’s some pretty intense stuff! You’ve got spy missions, potential resolutions, and Tom getting frisky with someone who may or may not be Liz. It’s a little hard to say in the limited amount of time that we see the scene.
‘The Blacklist: Redemption’ episode 2 ‘Kevin Jensen’ synopsis – “When an American journalist and close family friend of Scottie (Famke Janssen) is falsely arrested for espionage in a dangerous foreign country, the Halcyon team mounts a last-ditch effort to rescue him before time runs out.”
Our take on the synopsis / the promo
Consider this one of those wrongfully-accused episodes where we see the team do everything that they can in order to ensure that someone isn’t put away for something they did not commit. It’s a tired-and-true crime TV trope, but with this show it’s little different since many of our heroes are technically villains … far more so than the guy who is probably accused of being one. This show is almost the “Blacklist” Suicide Squad when you think about it; you’ve got rogue criminals working together and occasionally doing some good in the process. They may succeed sometimes, but they may also fall back into their old ways before the end. (Photo: NBC.)
