‘Survivor: Game Changers’: See the full cast — plus our first impressions!

Survivor -Survivor” fans, the wait is finally over! The full cast of “Survivor: Game Changers” was revealed on Wednesday, precisely one month before its March 8 premiere.

Overall, we’d say that the cast is … great? To be fair, it’s flawed, but it is nice to see several of these people back. You’ve got some really entertaining inclusions, a few people we NEVER would’ve imagined back, and a couple of people who were literally just on a season ago. It’s a pretty nice mix of people, which is probably CBS doing its best to keep us on its toes.

Let’s break the players up into tribes, with our quick reactions to each person. We’ll probably wait to begin our individual assessments of everyone until Monday, mostly so just we can give a little bit of time to let everything breathe. Remember, there’s a big show analyzing the cast coming later on the show’s Facebook page — you can read more about that over here.

Also, tomorrow we’ll break down some of the biggest snubs of the season. There are always some great ones left behind!

Mana Tribe

Michaela Bradshaw (“Millennials vs. Gen X”) – In terms of placement, we’re not she qualifies for “Game Changer” status. However, in terms of personality and prowess, we’re all for her being back.

Aubry Bracco (“Kaoh Rong”) – Many feel like she should’ve won her season; without getting into that, let’s just be glad she gets another chance.

Sandra Diaz-Twine (“Pearl Islands,” “Heroes vs. Villains”) – The QUEEN is back! Can she be the first three-time winner?

Ciera Eastin (“Blood vs. Water,” “Cambodia”) – She voted out her mom, people! Memes aside, she’s a great player and should be fun to have back.

Malcolm Freberg (“Philippines,” “Caramoan”) – Love the timing on Malcolm’s return, since it’s been a little while since he was last a part of the show.

Hali Ford (“Worlds Apart”) – Really? She seemed fun enough the first time, but nothing stood out. Maybe production thinks there’s something more here than what we saw.

Caleb Reynolds (“Kaoh Rong”) – We have no overt issue with Caleb being back, but we would’ve argued that this isn’t the best twist to include him again.

Troyzan Robertson (“One World”) – He’s come close many times to being back on the show, but this is his chance! We’ll see if he makes it his island this time.

Jeff Varner (“Australia,” “Cambodia”)– This is just a gift. We didn’t think we’d ever see him again after season 2, and now we’re getting him twice in four seasons.

Tony Vlachos (“Cagayan”) – One of our favorite winners of all time in terms of strategy and entertainment.

Nuku Tribe

Andrea Boehlke (“Redemption Island,” “Caramoan”) – We do think that she’s capable of winning any season she’s a part of, so she’s a contender.

Brad Culpepper (“Blood vs. Water”) – Seriously? Someone in production must love this guy. He didn’t last that long the first time, so it’s hard to understand this.

Sierra Dawn-Thomas (“Worlds Apart”) – She made it fairly far on her season, but it’s still a head-scratching choice in terms of entertainment value. With that said, we can see her doing really well.

Cirie Fields (“Panama,” “Fans vs. Favorites,” “Heroes vs. Villains”) – Cirie’s one of the best strategists of all time. Can she actually win a season of this show with her being an obvious threat? That’s the mystery at the moment.

Sarah Lacina (“Cagayan”) – We want her to last long enough at least to be on the same tribe as Tony again.

Ozzy Lusth (“Cook Islands,” “Fans vs. Favorites,” “South Pacific”) – He’ll be great in challenges, but it’s hard to imagine Ozzy ever winning a season of this show. He doesn’t have the social game.

Zeke Smith (“Millennials vs. Gen X”) – A great player from last season. Tons of potential this time.

James “JT” Thomas (“Tocantins,” “Heroes vs. Villains”) – Redemption this season could be spelled “JT.” He was a great winner who made a colossal blunder his second time. We’re thrilled to see him get a third try.

Tai Trang (“Kaoh Rong”) – Just from a character perspective alone, you have to be thrilled he’s back.

Debbie Wanner (“Kaoh Rong”) – See above. Wonderful personality.
