While you wait for ‘Poldark’ season 3, have a laugh with new video

PoldarkHiatuses are long, and sometimes they can be especially long when you’re dealing with a cliffhanger. Such is the case for fans of “Poldark” right now. The third season of the show won’t be here until later this year, and we’re left to wonder as to what’s going to happen with Elizabeth and her baby, and in turn, how that’s going to impact Ross. He and Demelza are just getting back on the same page again!

Basically, what we’re trying to say here is that there are probably going to be several occasions over the course of the next several months that we’re going to be spending some time shouting at the TV, hoping that magically it will bring Aidan Turner back on the air faster. Unfortunately, we’re not sure we can summon any of these characters a la Beetlejuice.

While you do deal with the hiatus, we do have for you below a video that we personally believe to be rather fun. This series of clips below was first updated by the show’s official Facebook page, with the hope here that fans would vote for the show in the upcoming National TV Awards, which you can do over at the link here. There are few shows out there that are as effective at rallying the voters behind certain campaigns, and encouraging them to get involved with various incentives. This particular awards show is great just because it allows the fans to truly have their say, and it therefore fully represents the passion that many viewers out there have for their favorite shows.

Sure, there are no major spoilers in this video, but we welcome the sight of Turner, Eleanor Tomlinson, and others laughing around the set. Given the nature of the show’s content these days, how many other opportunities are you going to get to see a lot of smiles in Cornwall? It doesn’t feel too likely. These are characters being forced to deal with some super-serious stuff, including losing loved ones, infidelity, and trying to secure a better future. This is not a world where there are a lot of things that go right.
