‘Bones’ season 12 spoilers: The past comes back for Booth, Brennan, and … Aubrey?
Given that this is the final season of “Bones” that we’re right in the middle of at the moment, it shouldn’t feel all that bizarre to think that legacy is, to a certain extent, an important priority. You have to start thinking about the future for many different characters, but in order to do that, you also need to reflect on their pasts. We are all a product of it, and sometimes it comes back to visit you in some unexpected ways.
For the upcoming fourth episode of this season in particular entitled “The Price for the Past,” there are two very different ways in which characters’ history will get involved in the story.
1. You are going to see the team investigate the murder of someone from Booth and Brennan’s past. Who it is, and what this person meant to the two of them, is what still remains to be revealed.
2. Aubrey’s father is going to surface, and he may suffer when it comes to determining what the right thing to do is in this particular situation. Unfortunately, this is the same struggle that many people face when they have a parent come into frame who they want to love and care for, but have trepidation letting in because of the history that is there. It can be rather hard to simply look back on everything that has transgressed in order to set all of that aside.
The one scary thought that we have in our mind is that after this episode airs, we’re going to have just eight left in the entire series. There will be time left to have some more personal stories and cases, but we’re starting to get to the point in which we see each one of the characters commemorate some of the last times in which they are doing things. Keep some hankies nearby, just in case, as you start to wind down to the end of the show.

I am not good at guessing, but I know I will enjoy each & every episode. I will, and have shed many tears already knowing these are the last new episodes to watch. I am hoping Mr. Michael Peterson can bring back Bones, in the NEAR, NEAR future. Until then I just ordered S-11 and will get S-12 (having the complete Set/Bones) be watching re-runs & DVD’S. I LOVE BONES. THANKS TO ALL BONES, CAST & CREW, YOU ARE THE BEST SHOW ON ANY NETWORK TV.
