Prepare for ‘Call the Midwife’ season 6 by watching (or re-watching) Christmas Special online

While it’s not all that often we post tune-in reminders for a show that has already aired, we consider things a tad different when it comes to “Call the Midwife.” This is a show that aired a Christmas Special last week, but it’s understandable that many people out there may have missed it — especially in America, given that watching specials over the holiday season is not something considered to be a tradition as it is in the UK.

So with this in mind, we wanted to offer up a resource as to how to properly catch up — and here we are!

If you are in the UK, you can catch up on the events that transpired during the Special by heading over to this link. While there may be a certain degree of a procedural element to this show, at the same exact time there are a few moments you are absolutely want to catch before the special airs once more. We don’t want to give anything major away, but let’s just say that it could change the personal life of some of the main characters forever.

Meanwhile, if you are in America you can watch the special over on PBS. Given that they’re both publicly-funded networks, the great news here is that either way, you are getting a chance to enjoy a commercial-free broadcast.

There is no precise word on when season 6 will premiere just yet, but if this is like some other past seasons, it may start up on the BBC at least at some point a little bit later this month. There’s already been some discussion out there about some of the subjects being explored this time around.
