‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 19: First look at ‘World Meets Girl’

For everyone out there who enjoys “Girl Meets World,” we understand that the desire is real to get a chance to see some more news when it comes to the show!

The photo above is the first look that we have for you from “World Meets Girl,” which is technically going to be the next new episode to air on the Disney Channel on Friday, January 6. This is the first of three episodes that will air in the month, culminating in what may or may not be the series finale.

What is interesting from a trivia point of view is that this is the last episode technically that the show filmed this season, and it is a little bit different from your standard half-hour. There is no real story to it as far as we can tell; instead, this is more just about giving viewers a quick look behind the scenes at what goes into making a show like this, and all of the different components that are ultimately involved. There’s a lot of different challenges that the producers and the actors have to take on. There could also be a Q&A component to it where the audience is involved.

We’ll admit that we were somewhat surprised when we first heard that this was the first of the three final episodes to air, largely because we thought that they would sandwich it between “Girl Meets Sweet Sixteen” (the last story-based episode of the show before the finale) and “Girl Meets Goodbye.” That is turning out to not be the case.

If you’ve loved this show and everything that it’s stood for over the course of its run, we suggest that you bring a hankie when you sit down to watch this episode. We can see this one getting emotional rather quickly.
