‘The Bachelor’ spotlight: Chef Jaimi King looks to cook up some LOVE with Nick Viall

To everyone out there reading this “Bachelor” spotlight on the day it’s being published, Merry Christmas! We did actually write this one up prior to today, so we’re probably off enjoying a festive meal somewhere. Meanwhile, maybe Jaimi King is off making one of her own! She is, after all, a chef, and the prospect of having someone like this on the show is interesting given that within this particular world, it’s a rather unusual job. Time and time again, we tend to just get the same laundry list of people taking part and that’s somewhat depressing.

So while the edition of Jaimi may spice up the lineup for the competition, is she going to spice up Nick Viall’s heart? This is something we’re going to illuminate in the latest edition of our show spotlight below.

Age – 28.

Occupation – Didn’t we already go through this? She’s someone who, per her ABC bio, actually catered the Oscars in some shape or form. That’s pretty tremendous, so she’s obviously good enough at she does to get some prestigious gigs.

Location – New Orleans, Louisiana, though apparently she is originally from the Los Angeles area. Let it be known that if we could be anywhere in America just for the sake of getting a great bite to eat, we’d probably choose New Orleans. Why in the world would you want to go anywhere else? Delicious food, great music, and good atmosphere. We suppose that this is when we should stop turning this into a commercial for the city…

Things to know – Apparently, she can bench press people with her legs. Also, she’s “Pesco-pollo-lacto-ovo-paro-tarian,” which sounds incredibly complicated and there’s no way that Nick is going to have any idea what that means. Jaimi strikes us as having a very quirky personality, which is probably going to suit her really well in some ways while in others cause her problems in the competition. She’s hard to get a great read on; while we do think that she is driven and very creative, she doesn’t strike us as the sort of person who would come on this show and deal with all of the typical Bachelor shenanigans. Why put up this this aggravation?

How is she actually going to do? – If Jaimi gets to cook for Nick at some point the first few weeks and she’s amazing, she could last a while! A way to a man’s heart is his stomach. It’s too bad that we don’t see that happening given that she’s probably a little too out-there for this show in between her bench-pressing and her specific diet.
