‘Strictly Come Dancing’ final: Ore Oduba defeats Louise Redknapp, Danny Mac as season 14 winner
While the “Dancing with the Stars” finale aired in America a little bit earlier this year, today the folks in Great Britain got their own turn courtesy of the “Strictly Come Dancing” finale. This was a chance to see a wide array of different people compete, in the end there can only be one winner — and this winner just so happened to be announced on Saturday.
As the title above ultimately managed to give away, Ore Oduba (a sports presenter) ended up defeating former “Eternal” singer Louise Redknapp to go along with “Hollyoaks” actor Danny Mac for the grand prize. A big part of the fun when it comes to this show is that there is always a certain element of mystery to it, and you don’t quite know who the British public will vote. So much of this, after all, is based on audience connection to go along with dance ability.
You can see the moment of Ore’s win in the video below, and we do think that this one is rather fun in between the reaction, and the support that is there from everyone else in the ballroom. This is one of the great things about this show in particular: It rarely ever breeds an environment that is contentious in any way. While there is almost always competition, the vast majority of it is friendly and there is rarely ever any ill will.
As for a fifteenth season, rest assured that this will be coming in due time — after all, this is one of the highest-rated series in the UK, and proportionally it is even more popular there than it is here in the United States with our much larger population.
