‘Scorpion’ season 3 spoilers: Who’s kidnapped in Christmas episode?

Given that Christmastime is coming up on “Scorpion,” there’s probably a part of you that would like to hope that there’ll be time for peace, relaxation, and holiday cheer among the characters. After getting through much of 2016 so far, we’re pretty darn sure that we all need it.

Yet, a great rock band once said that you can’t always get what you want … but, to be fair, we’re not even sure that we want a peaceful episode of “Scorpion.” On paper, that may sound like a great thing, but then you get around to the episode airing and you promptly realize that you want craziness, explosions, and non-stop excitement. It’s almost like the writers are reading into our subconscious right now, given that the upcoming December 19 episode entitled “Wreck the Halls” looks to give you all of this — plus a little holiday cheer to boot.

Check out the just-released synopsis by CBS to get a little more news about what lies ahead:

“It’s Christmas Eve and Team Scorpion’s electronics-free mountain getaway turns deadly when they come across gun-runners, and Ralph is kidnapped when they try to escape. Also, Tim makes an important decision about his position with Team Scorpion.”

Obviously, there will be some serious danger when it comes to Ralph getting kidnapped, and from this vantage point we’re certainly far from it being fun and games. While he may be incredibly smart, he’s more defenseless than any other member of the team and they may need to work into overdrive in order to properly ensure that he emerges in one piece.
