NBC’s ‘The Voice’ results: Did #VoiceSave keep Austin Allsup, Aaron Gibson, Courtney Harrell from elimination?
Tonight, “The Voice” aired its third results show of the season, and it is the most significant results show that we’ve seen to date. After all, there are two artists leaving the show tonight, which means that there’ll be eight going into next week, which is when the show will unleash that infamous Voice Red Wedding where a good half of the cast will be eliminated.
So, who’s safe tonight, and who is going home? That’s something we’re going to update over the course of the show, so stay tuned for some further updates! We’ll have the name of the eliminated artist at the end of the night.
Safe Artists – After some performances and fillers, we started to get to the big stuff. The first two people declared safe on the night were Brendan Fletcher and Sundance Head. Following that, we learned some great news for Christian Cuevas and Ali Caldwell.
The next two artists declared safe were We McDonald and Billy Gilman, which meant that by and large, we had an expected pool of people moving forward before we got down to the nitty-gritty on the night.
Up for elimination – The choices were between Courtney Harrell, Austin Allsup, and Aaron Gibson. This was a little different from our prediction, given that we thought that Austin would be safe and Josh Gallagher in danger.
The results – Somehow, Aaron pulled it off again! he was spared from elimination for the third straight week, which is further proof that Miley Cyrus and Aaron’s fans are turning out to be a dangerous combination. Austin and Courtney, meanwhile, are going home, leaving Blake Shelton shockingly with just one team member in Sundance Head moving forward.
