‘Madam Secretary’ season 3, episode 7 preview: Elizabeth, Henry prepare for Will’s arrival
We knew going into Monday night’s new episode of “Madam Secretary” that we would be getting to see an appearance from none other than Eric Stoltz as the character of Elizabeth’s brother Will McCord, and based on one of the latest sneak peeks below, we have a good sense that there is quite a bit of interesting stuff that will be coming up.
In the first of these sneak peeks below, you can see the Elizabeth McCord character spending a great deal of time working to figure out precisely what is going to be happening in terms of her brother turning up. She wants to prepare for his arrival by trying to make him feet as at home as she possibly can. Sound great? In theory, yes; but, here’s the issue: He’s a particularly hard person to try and make comfortable, mostly because of the fact that he has an enormous tendency to be incredibly distant from the rest of his family. For example, how do you set out some photos of him with the rest of the family when he is never around said family? It makes matters all the trickier.
When we does turn up during the episode, we’re going to learn that he will have an offer that could potentially lead to him getting to spend some more time on American soil, provided (of course) that this is actually something that he wants.
The second sneak peek below tells you a little bit more about what the latest international incident plaguing the show is. Specifically, we’re talking in this instance about the death of the President of Venezuela alongside many of his top aides following a terrible earthquake. This does have a certain “Designated Survivor” ring to it, no?
