Is ‘Chicago Med’ season 2, episode 9 new tonight on NBC? Hopes for what’s ahead
The past several weeks have been kind for fans of “Chicago Med,” given that we’ve had many chances to check out new episodes, and see precisely how so many of these characters have evolved since the beginning of the series. We’ve seen April become engaged, Dr. Rhodes start to consider new love, and Will Halstead find a new living arrangement for himself. Along the way, there of course have been a pretty wide array of different medical cases that the team has encountered, which tests them as people and forces them to do what they can in order to become better doctors.
So where in the world are these characters going to go from here? Unfortunately, you will be waiting for some time in order to find out.
Unfortunately, there is no new episode of the show airing on NBC tonight. Last week’s installment entitled “Free Will” was in fact that midseason finale, and you will now be waiting until you get around to January 5 in order to see precisely what is going to be coming up next for the series.
In general, the week of January 2 is going to be an enormous one when it comes to the entire “Chicago” franchise, given that last night, NBC confirmed that there will be a special event airing on January 3 to help set up the new series “Chicago Justice.” As for the precise role the characters from this particular series will play in that, it’s hard to say for sure — we just learned last month at One Chicago Day that there will at least be one character from “Chicago Justice” who appears within the hospital at some point in the months to come.
Once there is more information out there, we’ll be sure to let you know! The biggest takeaway we can offer up for you right now is be on the watch for new synopses for the “Chicago” franchise at around the second week in December. That is most likely the right timeframe for learning more about the show’s future.
