‘Cosby Show’ returns to TV, ‘DWTS’ semifinals, David Blaine’s crazy card tricks, Gary Sinise builds homes for Vets
If you are recovering from a long weekend, don’t apologize. Being that it is Monday, it’s quite alright to show up to work with a look that signals you’ve been binge watching the best shows all weekend. In fact, for those TV fans who didn’t binge watch, I’ve got to ask why. Last week was brutal in the realm of reality. Grabbing the remote and settling down to check out some great programming was the only way to escape. Expect new episodes of your favorite shows this week too.
David Blaine’s crazy card tricks are amazing
David Blaine takes magic to a new level. Yes, I am very aware he is branded as an illusionist, but his tricks of the trade are so impressive it doesn’t matter what you call his work. He’s brilliant. I’ve yet to see the same trick twice as he keeps the audience guessing. That’s exactly what he did on “The Ellen Show”. With volunteers from the audience, he was able to offer some amazing card tricks that showcased his magic. The viewers only had one wish when it was over: to see more tricks because David is THAT entertaining.
‘Dancing With the Stars’ semifinals: Who will go home?
The fans of “Dancing With the Stars” are expecting to see one more couple be axed this week. It’s the harsh reality of the show, but the standing of the contestants this season make it even tougher. Typically there is always one couple at this point of the competition that isn’t up to par. Unfortunately, this isn’t true for the remaining five contestants. All of them are very good. All of them deserve to move on. Alas, one couple will go home. My bet? Well, I think we might see Terra Jole go home tonight. I just really hope I am wrong!!
‘Cosby Show’ returns to TV
If you haven’t heard, “The Cosby Show” is returning to TV. Fans who love the television show are thrilled. Other folks are not. It’s a risk for any network considering Bill Cosby’s legal situation. However, Bounce TV obviously assessed and decided to move forward. The show’s episodes return to the air on December 19. And like most fans, I’m really not sure how I feel about this.
Any finally… Gary Sinise builds ‘Smart Homes’ for wounded vets
Gary Sinise has never wavered in his focus on helping veterans and military families. The actor made his pledge to help veterans part of his platform and he’s always put this priority first. Perhaps that’s why TV viewers aren’t surprised to hear that the “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” star’s foundation is building “Smart Homes” for wounded veterans who need new homes. What’s truly amazing is he isn’t just part of building one home; instead, there are 50 homes for military families. Specially equipped to help the needs of the soldier, these homes are unique and ready for people to move forward in their lives after their time in the service. Not only do we salute the vets who make the sacrifice, but also Gary who helps these man and women and their families.
