‘Timeless’ spoilers: Be prepared to see Lucy and company in ‘Space Race’
Given how much of “Timeless” to date has revolved around visiting incredibly notable moments in history — whether it be the Alamo or the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln — it only makes some sense that sooner or later, we’d be looking more towards the Moon landing and Apollo 11. That’s going to specifically happen on the November 28 episode entitled “Space Race.”
So what specifically is going to be happening here? Well, we’re going to see Garcia Flynn once again do his part to reinvent history, and attempt to take one of history’s greatest moments away from America following his arrival near Mission Control. If this event changes, who knows what it could bring with it in terms of either the Cold War or the entire history of science in general?
Luckily, we know that our heroes are going to be on the case! Prepare to see Lucy, Wyatt, and Rufus of course do everything within their power to try to make things right here, and that includes them calling on, per NBC, one of “history’s unsung heroes” in order to ensure that their mission is a success.
This “unsung hero” quality is in part what makes this show so fun. It’s one thing if the writers focused just on all of the major players, but we appreciate that they are trying to have the audience potentially get to know better people who played a key part in the course of world events, but may not be as easily remembered. We’ve already seen this on the show to a certain extent, and we imagine that this will increase exponentially over time as more and more history is impacted by what Flynn is up to.
As for whatever that is, we will get some answers in some upcoming installments. Stay tuned!
