‘Madam Secretary’ season 3, episode 6 video: Elizabeth, Henry have tension over Dimitri

Sunday night’s new episode of “Madam Secretary” is a matter of hours away, and there are going to be a wide array of stories within it that are interesting. With this being said, there may still be one that rises to the surface even more than all of the others: Tension that mounts between Henry and Elizabeth over a rather familiar face from last season in Dimitri.

As Tim Daly’s character reveals in the sneak peek below, he is heading to Arizona because Dimitri’s cover is blown, and he feels very much like he is going to need some assistance from him. With that being said, you get a clear sense in here that Elizabeth disagrees with one key part of this plan: The way that Henry is handling it by going out personally to help.

Does Henry need to do that? Probably not, since there are so many other people in his position who could. Maybe there’s a sense of loyalty that is causing him to act in such a way, or maybe he just really wants to see that the problem is taken care of himself. The issue with the timing of this is mostly that there are so many other issues happening at the moment when it comes to life in Washington. There’s the Presidential election, Elizabeth is dealing with a new crisis over a bombing, and there is also still the specter of the cyber-stalking hanging over the family.

There of course could be a little bit more to this story than it first seems, and that is what makes this upcoming episode all the more fascinating. We’ll have some further news on that very soon — think tonight!
