‘Quantico’ season 2, episode 7 video: Torture and much more

Sunday night’s new episode of “Quantico” is right about upon us, and we really think that the two sneak peeks below offer up a pretty good explanation of all of the different degrees in which this show, and Priyanka Chopra’s lead character of Alex Parrish, can operate.

In the first sneak peek, you can see a fuller extent of precisely what some people are willing to do to her in order to ensure that they get what they want, and of course, it’s not pretty. Yet, at the same time we cannot exactly say that we’re shocked that someone would be willing to resort to torture, either, given that this is what terrorists often do. What probably makes this even more painful for future Alex, though, is that this particular scene appeals to her own greatest weakness: The safety of someone else. We feel like she’s the sort of person who would rather take some personal lumps than see them handed down to someone else.

Meanwhile, the second sneak peek here offers up a little bit of a further sense of what is coming in terms of a more lighthearted scene … or at least one that appears to be so on the surface. You do have to remember in the process of this casual game of darts-meets-truth-or-dare that she’s all about extracting information from others, and this sort of situation is a great way for her to achieve that very goal. You have people present who are perhaps a little more willing than they otherwise would be to pass along some key information, which could prove in the end to be rather valuable.

Maybe by the end of this episode we’ll have a better chance to see precisely what Alex is getting out of The Farm; after all, she will have a chance to interrogate Owen, and she is aware that he is one of the reasons why she’s there in the first place.
