Is ‘Bull’ episode 6 new tonight on CBS? Michael Weatherly’s fun ‘NCIS’ return response
These days, there’s not a whole lot in the way of “Bull” news breaking … though you can argue that there’s a whole lot of it happening in terms of frequent preemptions from CBS. (We kid!)
The sad news that we have to report for the second straight week is that there is no new episode coming on the network, though it is pretty darn easy to understand why: The election. Who wants to compete against that? It’ll draw huge numbers, and it is also allows for some opportunities for us to see the future of the country. We’re sure that it’s a bummer to have no new episode for the second straight week, but it’s something you just have to contend with at this point in the year.
Now that we’ve gotten all of that out of the way, let’s look forward to the future. The next new episode is entitled “Bedside Manner,” and as we’ve reported in the past, one of the biggest storylines that will be coming up there is seeing Dr. Jason Bull try to represent someone whose ego makes it incredibly difficult to be sympathetic in front of a jury. Beyond that, not much is known.
As referenced in the title, let’s talk for a minute about something else before we sign off here: A possible return from Michael Weatherly to “NCIS.” He made it clear in a post on Twitter that he’s open to a return, but trailed off the response after that. We get the feeling that this is mostly a reference to the fact that Weatherly’s already got a full-time job on a different CBS show, and also that this said show films on the other side of the country in New York. It’s extremely tough for him to be able to do these two shows given that they also film around the same time, and he’s got the bulk of “Bull” air time even more so than “NCIS.”
