‘The Walking Dead’ season 7, episode 3 video: Norman Reedus’ Daryl gets quality time with Dwight
Sunday night’s new episode of “The Walking Dead” is right about here, and judging from the latest bit of sneak-peek content that we have right now, there may be one prevailing way in which to describe this one: Horrible for Norman Reedus’ character of Daryl Dixon.
Here’s the good news for the character: He’s still alive. Here’s the bad news: Virtually everything else. He is basically prisoner of Dwight inside the compound of the Saviors, where he has to watch the guy use his crossbow and basically taunt him to know end. Dwight’s gonna have a field day with this, mostly because he’s had some not-so-great personal feelings about Daryl for a rather-long time now and this is his best opportunity in order to exploit them.
Ultimately, we expect that there are going to be some crazy things that unfold for both characters over the course of this episode, and while the sneak peek below may give you one impression, we do feel like there’s a reasonably good chance that Daryl gets free (at least from Dwight) in this episode and possibly kills him. While we don’t quite think that Negan is going to be going anywhere in the near future, many of his lackeys could be in danger. As of right now, we’re seeing some of the metaphorical bubbles of a war that could boil over at any moment in particular. We’re just waiting to see all of it explode. Hopefully, it’ll be in a way that doesn’t lead to any more of our familiar faces losing their lives in a most-terrible fashion.
