‘Dancing with the Stars 23’ results preview: Will Maureen McCormick, Ryan Lochte, or Jana Kramer be eliminated?
Over the past couple of weeks, it’s felt a little bit more like there is some genuine mystery in terms of “Dancing with the Stars” and who could be getting eliminated at the end of the competition. However, we’re starting to get more to the point now where there are even more defined tiers than ever, and we would be shocked if tonight’s result show did not feature one of the following pairs going home.
Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke – These two seem to be the easiest choice to predict, if for no other reason than that they’ve long had a fairly mysterious fan base, and we don’t know precisely who is voting for him. Even if you’re well-known, that doesn’t always mean you get votes. Look at how quick David Hasselhoff went home, or how Rick Perry was a goner relatively early on. Lochte’s a better dancer than either one of them was, but he is probably the weakest one left. He also performed first on this past show, which is never good for memorability.
Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev – Maureen seemed a little too in her head on this past routine, in general the past two weeks have been a little more of a roller-coaster ride. We know she loves the show and is loving the chance to be there, but that doesn’t always automatically equate to someone congratulating you and allowing you to move further into the competition.
Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko – Yes, we feel stupid for even suggesting that someone coming off a perfect score could be sent home, but we do have a feeling that they’ve been in danger before. While they’re probably safe this time around, we wouldn’t be so sure about it in a week or two’s time.
