‘Quantico’ season 2, episode 4 preview: To trade or not to trade
So far on “Quantico” season 2, we’ve seen threats, a beheading, a guy jumping out of a building, and a hostage situation / undercover mission. Basically, this is a show that is thriving within its own brand of chaos, and it makes you wonder precisely what in the world it could be doing next.
With that in mind, we’ve got some more details for you about “Kubark,” the next new installment that promises to offer some additional insight into what is coming for many of the characters within this world both past and present.
Synopsis – “The trainees are put through a training drill that tests their stress levels while Alex tries to gather information and get close to Owen. Meanwhile, in the future, the terrorist organization demands a trade, a move that could possibly end the stand-off.”
The main struggle that the show could face with this story is the same exact one that we’ve seen the past few weeks. Namely, we’re talking here about the fact that the future story is inevitably much more interesting than the present one given that there, we’re really just seeing for the most part practice exercises. The information may be important, but it is only on select occasions where you start to truly feel as though lives are in jeopardy. The big point of interest for us, at least right now, is this trade dilemma and precisely what it means.
Promo – This gives you a further sense as to what the danger really is, and also the stakes of the trader where countless hostages could be handed down for one hacker. Alex makes it clear that she doesn’t want to go through with it, so isn’t that a sign that it may not happen?
