‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10, episode 5 sneak peek: Howard, Bernadette, and break-in drama

Monday night’s new episode of “The Big Bang Theory” is right around the corner, and for Howard and Bernadette, there could actually be a scary situation ahead!

As the sneak peek below indicates, the two characters are going to be in for a surprise when they realize that someone is at their house after they decided to stay in rather than taking a previously-planned trip. With that in mind, the two parties go into “protection mode,” which basically means that Howard relies on his wife for protection after getting freaked out. Despite the two being in a scary situation, this is still worthy of a couple of laughs.

As for who is in their home, we do think that there are a few obvious possibilities.

1. Amy or Sheldon – They’ve proposed living together for several weeks, but at the time of this episode it’s possible things are going so badly that one of them is looking for an escape from the other. This would be a perfect opportunity to have that.

2. Raj – He’s practically there all of the time, anyway. Maybe he thought of this as a chance to surprise the two of them with a new design for their crib.

3. Stuart – We don’t really know what the guy is up to at the moment, but it absolutely would not surprise us at all if he decided to squat in his former residence while these two were away. Stuart added a certain awkward energy to Howard and Bernadette’s place when he was around, so there is a part of us that certainly would not mind if he suddenly decided to take up calling the place his home once more.
