‘Big Brother OTT’ spoilers: The second America’s Care Package recipient
Back during the summer, it was a lot harder to predict the recipients of America’s Care Package on “Big Brother” just because there were so many casual fandoms in the mix, and returning players could have a lot of sway. For example, we feel like Corey ended up getting one because of Nicole’s social-media collowing.
Going into today, it was fairly easy to assume that a Care Package was going to be coming Scott’s way, mostly because this was a pretty innocuous Care Package as far as game impact goes. Whoever receives Pick a Veto cannot really do much with it other than choose between the following options for Power of Veto prizes.
Double Veto – A Veto that can be used twice.
Diamond Power of Veto – A Veto that can be used to also name the replacement nominee, similar to what Matt used in season 12.
Two separate Vetoes – There are two different necklaces that can be won in the next competition.
Having it be Scott with this Care Package is smart given that this for sure will have an impact on him, given that he is playing in the next Power of Veto Competition. It’s also all the more imperative now that he wins it since otherwise, his entire Head of Household reign could be completely useless. If Shane or Danielle (who are the likely nominees) win, they could effectively save each other and themselves from the block unless the Diamond direction is chosen.
What will be especially interesting now is seeing if any players look at this as an assumption that Scott is popular with America. Kryssie has done that following her Care Package, but in both cases this was really a move to save the good packages for potential favorites down the line.
