‘Blue Bloods’ season 7, episode 4 preview: Lieutenant Gormley is attacked
Tonight, “Blue Bloods” season 7 brought us a series of emotional stories, with one of the biggest ones being a challenging case where Danny and Baez had to get justice for a woman who tried to resist the idea of pressing charges for a man who held her hostage. Meanwhile, Frank found himself yet again between a rock and a hard place after the actions of a police fundraiser caused a public uproar.
Of course, we’re not going to see Frank in much of a better situation next week for “Mob Rules,” but based on what we are seeing right now, he is far from the character in the most danger at present.
Synopsis – “Intent on bringing justice to Lieutenant Gormley after he is beaten by a mob outside his home, Danny and Frank enlist the aid of Detective Anthony Abetemarco (Steve Schirripa), who has a personal connection to the neighborhood where the attack occurred. Also, Eddie and Jamie witness a dishonest arrest, and Danny searches for a witness to testify against a dangerous gang leader, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Oct. 14 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Cady Huffman guest stars as Lieutenant Gormley’s wife, Sheila.”
Fingers grossed that Gormley makes it through the episode okay; even though he may not be a member of the Reagan family, he is an integral part of the show and it would be disappointing to imagine the series without him. Dangerous as the situation may be, this is a chance to get to learn more about him and his family.
In regards to the Eddie – Jamie storyline, we admit that there is a part of us that scans these synopses at this point looking for some sort of clue they are getting together. Alas, that is not the case here.
