‘Chicago Med’ season 2 spoilers: News on a Sophia Bush – ‘Chicago PD’ crossover

Tomorrow night, the premiere of “Chicago Med” is coming to NBC, and for the sake of this article we’re going to talk for a moment about something that never strays too far from mind when it comes to this show: Crossovers! They’re everywhere, and we don’t see them slowing down especially now that there are four different components to this franchise.

For the sake of this medical drama, one of the crossovers you’re probably going to want to know the most about has to with Sophia Bush stopping by as her “Chicago PD” character Lindsay. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Andrew Schneider confirmed that Bush will appear in a couple of episodes coming up; meanwhile, fellow EP Diane Forlov notes that they are “doing an episode about sex trafficking that she’s involved in.” We assume that she will be brought in after some issues and information arises at the hospital, and she will do her part to preserve justice.

Of course, it’s fair to also expect appearances from some other characters, most notably the paramedics from “Chicago Fire” who have such a natural connection to this show. We’re still waiting on the idea of a four-part crossover involving all of these shows plus “Chicago Justice,” even though we’re well aware that this is probably not going to be coming up until that new series premieres in the new year.

Rest assured, we’ll be keeping track of “Chicago Med” in a big way over the course of season 2, and that includes a flurry of reviews and other coverage! Stay tuned.
