‘Dancing with the Stars 23’ results preview: Is Rick Perry, Jake T. Austin, or Amber Rose in danger?
Tonight, “Dancing with the Stars” is giving us a relatively-rare (at least for this era) results show, and it will come at the conclusion of a super-lengthy program that includes a lot of various nonsense in terms of interview packages, performance replays, and maybe a new performance here or there.
So who is in real danger of being the first Star sent home? We’ve got for you the top four candidates below…
Rick Perry and Emma Slater – Rick’s the worst dancer of the bunch, and it’s really not even close. Yet, we do give him credit for really trying to get into these performances; maybe viewers will respond to that enthusiasm, and conservative-leaning Stars do tend to fare well through the early weeks with fans.
Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev – While it’d be a total bummer to see her be the first Star sent home, her level of modern-day fame coupled with not having a super-famous partner could put her in some trouble.
Jake T. Austin and Jenna Johnson – He’s got a first-time partner, and for a young Disney star, he’s really not capitalizing on his athletic ability. Also, it feels a little weird to us that the show has never even acknowledged his role on “The Fosters” given that he was a big part of that for a while.
Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy – If that happens, we’re sure those ridiculous tabloid reports about her thinking the show is “rigged” will pick up steam. (For the record, she never said that.) We do think having a popular pro in Maks helps her, but she doesn’t really fit in the box of the sort of Star who gets a lot of votes from viewers.
