‘Poldark’ season 2, episode 3 preview: What’s next for Aidan Turner, cast
So far through season 2, “Poldark” has given us drama, romance, intrigue, and of course politics. Do you expect anything else from this world in Cornwall, especially when you think for a minute or two about some of the people who are involved here like George?
Next week, the show will return to the BBC with another new episode, and the great news is that Ross will not be dead or locked away for good! That projects some element of success following what transpired tonight … with a key emphasis here on the word “some.” It certainly does not suggest per the synopsis below that everything is going to be smooth sailing for him in the slightest, as some further hardships lie ahead:
“Ross and Demelza face financial ruin, and George plans revenge on Jud. Francis, meanwhile, tries to rebuild his life and extends an invitation to Ross and Demelza.”
Luckily, we presume there will be opportunities for Ross and Demelza to turn this around, but as someone who is deliberately watching this show without knowledge of the original or the books, the question we ponder is this: Is Francis really the sort of person you want to accept an invitation from at this point?
As we saw during the preview tonight, the end of Ross’ trial certainly means that we’re far from the end of his woes. He has still many matters to attend to, and with Demelza carrying a child, that could eventually lead to some other efforts.
