‘The Originals’ season 4 spoilers: Get ready for some Kol / Rebekah bonding sessions
For this latest article about “The Originals” season 4, we’re going to talk a little bit about something that is not often a common subject for discussion at the site: Members of the Mikaelson family actually getting along! It may be crazy, but does happen here and there.
Specifically, though, we’re not talking about family members named Klaus, largely because we still don’t think of him as the sort of guy capable of getting along with almost anyone. However, two of his siblings that he has certainly caused problems for in the past in Rebekah and Kol are going to get a chance to spend a little more time together. Speaking on this subject to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Julie Plec passed along the following message:
“Rebekah, like her siblings, has gotten caught up into the unified family takedown and spent five years in an alternate reality and is now back once again with that same choice she always has: What is my life supposed to be outside this crazy family … Kol, interestingly enough, is asking himself those same questions. The two of them are going to bond in a way that we haven’t gotten to see so much about what their future is in this family and how much of this crazy they’re expected to live through.”
Do we think that these two are going to be on the same page forever? That’s something we’re a little less optimistic about, if for no other reason that that their relationship by and large is one that could run hot and cold. It often does with this family, since so much gets in the way.
As previously reported, the new season of “The Originals” will begin airing in 2017.
