TV Quick Hits: ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ casting scoop; ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ renewed; ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ promo
More “Hell’s Kitchen” – We begin this edition of TV Quick Hits with news that is hardly a surprise: There’s going to be a whole lot more “Hell’s Kitchen” coming up in the future!
Today, Fox confirmed that they have renewed the Gordon Ramsay cooking competition, which is about as crazy of a cooking show as you are going to find, for seasons 17 and 18. To think, this is a show that has been around since 2005, and has been an incredibly utility player over the years. It can be plugged in almost anywhere, even in the middle of the season to replace a struggling show elsewhere. The ratings are often solid, and the show is rather inexpensive to make beyond of course Ramsay.
The 16th season of the show premieres later this month.

New “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” trailer – Following a fantastic first season, the hour-long comedy (chock full of musical elements) is going to be moving to Fridays this fall. Judging from the preview below, it’s going to be every bit as crazy as ever as Rebecca Bunch tries to get used to life in the wake of her revelation to Josh: That she moved to West Covina primarily to have a chance at being with him. How do you think that’s going to go over?
