‘The X Factor’ UK video: Could 5 AM wake up the judges?

So far this season on “The X Factor,” we’ve seen a few solid entries in the Groups category. For example, Tom & Laura last week had some potential, even if one of them was much stronger than the other.

Now, we could be looking at the group with more potential than anyone in 5 AM. They’re three guys who are entering the auditions with a Drake song in their arsenal, and apparently, plenty of quality dance moves to boot. You see, we’re always in favor of someone coming out and trying to dance in the audition round, mostly because it’s a distraction for the judges and the real focus should just be on your voice. However, if you can pull it off why not give it a shot? That is certainly the case here, since they don’t really miss a beat.

From here, the sky is the limit when it comes to their ceiling in the competition. They’ve just gotta keep working hard, and judging from the amount of work they obviously put into this audition, they’re off to a very good start. We certainly think that they are going to get a chorus of “yes” votes from the judges here.

The funny thing about writing about this audition in advance is that there’s really not too much to analyze. We don’t really have to debate their talent or their personality, since much of that seems to be very much on point.
