‘Bachelor in Paradise 3’ review: Are Evan Bass / Carly Waddell, Josh Murray / Amanda Stanton engaged?
Tonight was the “Bachelor in Paradise” finale, and we can certainly say that it was a story of love — or at least the weird, twisted love that you get on this show sometimes.
Let’s start of this article with the weirdest relationship of all in Evan Bass and Carly Waddell. They started off as a complete trainwreck, and she didn’t seem to be even remotely interested in him. Yet, a hospital visit changed everything, and they proceeded to have some of the weirdest dates we’ve ever seen on the franchise. For some reason, this relationship works, and we actually like it! Their proposal was certainly out there, but it was sweet and completely gutsy. They’re one of those couples who we do think could actually make it after the show, mostly because nothing they did ever felt fake or pretend for the cameras.
Ultimately, these two are the first of MANY engagements on the finale. We’ll have some more on that soon…
Engagement #2 – Yes, Lace Morris and Grant Kemp somehow made this work! We’re not sure that they were as weird and wonderful as Evan and Carly; instead, they spent plenty of time this season fighting. We have no idea if they can make this work on the outside world, but for the sake of their tattoos, let’s wish them the best.
Engagement #3 – It’s Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton, and nobody is shocked given that they basically gave this away to the press a good while ago. Still, if you like them, you’re probably satisfied.
Also, Jen Saviano and Nick Viall didn’t make it, but that’s also no surprise given that Nick is “The Bachelor.” Basically, spoilers ruined about half of the episode.
