‘Empire’ season 3 spoilers: Check out first details on premiere episode!

The second season of “Empire” ended in just about the craziest way that it possibly could, and that is certainly setting the stage for one thing more so than anything else: Answers. Specifically, we are waiting to learn whether or not Anika, Rhonda, or both of them survive following the brawl we saw recently. The producers won’t make you wait long for there to be an answer, but once there is, you better be prepared for many more questions to come.

Below, you can see via SpoilerTV the just-revealed details on the premiere, which we can tell you also features guest appearances from French Montana and Birdman:

“EMPIRE picks up exactly where Season Two ended – Hakeem left at the altar, Lucious and Anika married and Anika and Rhonda fighting on the roof – until someone falls. Also, Lucious pursues his music legacy with his streaming service, while clashing with his half-brother, Tariq (Morocco Omari), who is leading a federal task force investigating him in the all-new “Light in Darkness” Season Premiere episode of EMPIRE airing Wednesday, Sept. 21 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.”

Beyond the cliffhanger, we don’t expect much of anything else to be resolved when you’ve still got a bevy of episodes to come to answer questions. Our feeling is that Hakeem’s going to have some time to grow and Jamal will find a new way to pursue music, but at some point along the way they’ll all find a way to be in over their head. Otherwise, this wouldn’t be much of the same show we’ve come to know over the years.
