‘Supergirl’ season 2 poster revealed — plus more Superman scoop
The second season of “Supergirl” will be coming to The CW in October, and while the network continues to be rather coy about releasing footage (we haven’t seen the first promo for the show just yet), we do at least have something else to smile about right now: A new poster that features Kara Zor-El front and center!
This poster comes via TVLine, and it’s clear that there is one thing that this is hyping above all else: The move to The CW. With a new network comes some big changes, and the appearance of Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) over the course of the first couple of episodes could be a part of that.
With that in mind, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg makes it clear to the aforementioned site precisely how seeing Clark Keny could be extremely useful for Kara as she tries to figure out precisely how to make her life work better than it does at present:
“Season 2 is definitely learning about how to integrate both parts of her life into one … She’s always felt like Clark makes everything look so easy — he’s effortlessly Superman, and he’s effortlessly a great boyfriend, and effortlessly a great reporter, and one of the things he admits to her is that none of this easy. That ‘I’m making it up as I go, and some days are better than others.’”
Ultimately, we figure that this will be a lot of fun to watch this story unfold, especially since Kara in general is such a positive, optimistic person in the first place. Getting her over to The CW should allow her to continue doing what she does best while being more integrated into a larger universe.
