‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 2, episode 10 preview: A big Alycia Debnam-Carey, Cliff Curtis story
So far in the second half of season 2, “Fear the Walking Dead” is taking a little bit more of a fragmented approach to its storytelling. It’s giving you a little bit of story for several individual characters, and allowing you some time to spend in their individual worlds. This is something that aided “The Walking Dead” proper during some of its past seasons, and we have a feeling that it could further aid this show as it wants to make every character all the more appealing.
In 2×08, the focus was primarily on Nick. Meanwhile, 2×09 was largely about Madison and Strand. While Alicia and Ofelia were there, they weren’t necessarily always in the spotlight. That could change, at least for Alycia Debnam-Carey’s character. The same goes for Cliff Curtis’ Travis. The title here is “Do Not Disturb,” and you can get some other details courtesy of TV Guide below:
“Travis struggles to connect with Chris while searching for shelter. Meanwhile, Alicia meets a lonely woman with a bloody past.”
We’re obviously sure that Travis has struggled time and time again when it comes to Chris, and given what he went through over the course of the first half of the season, finding that organic humanity may be difficult.
As for Alicia, let’s just say that this is a little bit of a different story. We hope that this encounter shows the character’s growth following what she went through on the Abigail earlier this season. She should be a little less trusting and way more cautious.
