‘Beauty and the Beast’ series finale: First details revealed!
For the majority of “Beauty and the Beast” as a series, we’ve been seeing Vincent and Catherine fighting various obstacles in hopes of eventually having a happy ending.
With that in mind, we’re very much curious in seeing how their story ends, and if happiness is ultimately something that can be possible for them. We’ll get a chance to learn come Thursday, September 15, which is when the series finale entitled “Au Revoir” is going to air on The CW. The synopsis below gives you a further sense as to what you can expect:
“Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to stop an attack and rid the world of beast makers once and for all. Austin Basis, Nicole Gale Anderson, Nina Lisandrello and Michael Roark also star. Stuart Gillard directed the episode, written by Mike Gemballa.”
Hopefully, by the end of this episode we’ll get a little more of an opportunity to see some various tributes to the story gone by, whether it be character relationships, storylines, or even themes that have been previously explored. One thing that fans should appreciate here are the words “once and for all,” which certainly suggest to us that maybe there could be some hope for normalcy, after all! For a time, we wondered if this series was going to end in a way where Cat and Vincent would still have to look towards a future of hunting beasts and beast-hunters for the remainder of their days.
