‘Ray Donovan’ season 4 video: All about Ray and Bunchy

So far through season 4 of “Ray Donovan,” we’ve seen the title character slowly reach his wits’ end when it comes to so many reasons, whether it be his business dealings, Mickey’s state, or Abby’s condition. Very little has gone his way completely, which is why we’re not past the halfway point this season and there is still so much work that needs to be done.

So is there anything that has gone in Ray’s direction this season? Well, we suppose you could say that there has been a change in the dynamic between him in Bunchy! In the new video below via Showtime, you can see series star Liev Schreiber describe further some of the changes that have befallen the two characters; it may not be too specific, but we do appreciate getting some actor insight on the elements of the series they feel are developing over time:

“Ray and Bunchy, I think they’re probably closer this season … because Ray’s going to snap now, and that was always Bunchy’s idea, that Ray should. I think certainly there’s a closer bond there than maybe there’s been in a while.”

We should add once again precisely how worried we are that something terrible is coming on Sunday’s episode: We’re terrified. Maybe we are the sort that does occasionally read a little too much into episode titles, but we don’t know what else we are supposed to do with something entitled “Goodbye Beautiful.” That just screams that horrible things are coming and we just better prepare for them now. You may just want to have a set of tissues aside just in case.
