‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Nominations / Paul’s reaction
Given that “Big Brother” delivered a complete and utter disaster of a show tonight that was NOT FRIENDSHIP in any way, it’s fair to say we were looking forward to diving back into the live feeds tonight. At least there we knew we’d be getting something that was honest, and not a complete hodgepodge of junk that was manipulated by producers. (Also, you can avoid watching Nicole / Corey conversations if you so choose.)
Before the nomination ceremony, it was fairly clear that Paul and Victor were going on the block. Victor was even told of the plan ahead of time, and that his longtime alliance partner was the target. What we were waiting to see was his precise reaction to it after the fact, given that previously the plan was for Nicole and Corey to be leaving the game before the unnamed five-person alliance did anything to each other.
At about 7:15 p.m. Big Brother Time, the feeds were back and the nominations were official. Paul of course didn’t take it well, but why would he? Who wants to be on the block, especially given that Victor has apparently already clued him in on some of what he was told?
While at first we don’t think Natalie did a particularly good job of handling him in the moment, eventually she recovered and Michelle helped to chime in with a few things that Paul did lie about. He’s played a very good game, but some things, such as him not owning up to being involved in the Da’Vonne vote, were mistakes. To play the sort of game he has played this season (Andy comparisons are good one), you have to be almost perfect. He hasn’t been.
As a fan, we’re totally bummed that he’s in danger. But, consider this: There’s still a Veto, and also a competition that could bring him back to the game even if he does go.
Update: Paul may have flipped things around! You’re gonna want to read this…
