‘The Fosters’ season 4: First details on summer finale ‘Collateral Damage’
This just in: “The Fosters” will have an emotional finale episode. When haven’t they had this? The Adams Foster clan may be loving, but they also may be the family equivalent of a worn-out rubber band. They’ve been stretched and stretched and stretched to the point where you think that at some point, they’re going to snap. Luckily, it hasn’t happened just yet.
On the August 29 summer finale entitled “Collateral Damage,” there may be the slightest chance of that happening according to the synopsis released by Freeform this week. Highlights are ahead, but we should warn you of minor spoilers. (Hey, some people wanna watch knowing absolutely nothing about what’s coming up!)
Callie – Remember Jack, and remember Justina a.k.a. the horrible person who tried to manipulate Callie? While at a music festival, Callie’s setting up a “Justice for Jack” booth to get enough signatures to stop Justina in her tracks with her foster-care bill. Remember that Callie also has Kyle’s case still on her plate, plus school and relationships and trying to be a functioning teenager in 2016. She has to duck and cover potential breaking points, and her relationship with AJ hits a major snag due to her friendship with Aaron. Could this break the rubber band in half?
Mariana – In the midst of her success at the FIRST Robotics competition earlier this week, it’s easy to forget that she’s still on Jesus’ ADHD medication. As you know, she doesn’t quite need it. This, plus seeing Nick again, could cause her to bolt from the festival. Nobody knows quite where to find her.
Stef – She’s done her best to stand up for Callie and the Kyle case; unfortunately, by the end of this episode, there could be consequences.
If you’ve got any hankies at all left over from the first few episodes of the season, keep them nearby … or go buy another value pack at your local Costco. Never know when they’ll come in handy.
