‘Scream Queens’ season 2 video: See Emma Roberts in first teaser!
The second season of “Scream Queens” is coming on Tuesday, September 20, and based on the new teaser for it below (via Fox), we’re looking at a new batch of episodes that will feel very similar to the ones that came before. Specifically, what we mean by this is that we’re looking more than likely at a super-crazy story in which people die by the dozen and yet we find a way to still laugh in the process.
This teaser does not necessarily give away too much, other than that Chanel (Emma Roberts) and some of her disciples are back, only this time around they are operating around actual operating rooms. We are jumping forward years into the future, and as a result of that, we will be seeing these characters in a very different space within a hospital. This distance from season 1 will at least create a false pretense that they are safe again, which is an ideal situation for the rug to be pulled out from under them completely.
While many of your favorite season 1 familiar faces (including Lea Michele and Jamie Lee Curtis) are going to return, there will be some newcomers to the show as well. Specifically, be prepared to see a good deal of John Stamos and Taylor Lautner, who are both playing doctors on this season and are poised to be series regulars. They seem more than capable of tackling the multiple genres that are at the core of this show.
Of course, you also should imagine that there are many surprises ahead — but by the virtue of that word, we cannot really give too much away at present.
